YogaKnott - it's not because I want you to tie yourself up in knots!! It's my name. I trained for three years with British Wheel of Yoga (a very thorough 500 hour course), and have been instructing yoga classes since 2008. I started practicing yoga in central London as a young 20 something with gym membership from work, since then it has been part of my everyday life - through having four children and all the trials and celebrations life threw at me.
My classes incorporate breathwork, asana (physical yoga postures) and relaxation. All body types, and fitness (or stiffness) levels are welcome in classes.
I teach in South London and North Kent, and travel around London.
I love sharing my yoga knowledge with both new and familiar people, I encourage yogis to challenge themselves, and also to stay safe.
I currently teach Hatha, Yin, and Vinyasa Flow yoga as regular classes. I also offer Restorative Yoga. Private 1 to 1 sessions may suit some people more. Also available are Mindful Flow; Pregnancy Yoga; Fertility Yoga; Yoga for Seniors - as a gentle floor practice, or seated in chairs; Yoga in your Workplace in your office or meeting room.
